Fallsview Casino Press Release

The fun and excitement never stop at Fallsview Casino with the addition of “Asia: The Heat Of The Moment Tour,” followed by the outspokenly funny comedian Chelsea Handler’s “Little Big Bitch Tour!” Also, don’t miss your chance to see Howard Jones & ABC with Haircut One Hundred, and returning rock star sensation Bret Michaels.

“The OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino continues to announce highly anticipated rock performances and hilarious comedy acts,” said Cathy Price, vice president of marketing for Niagara Casinos. “The talented artists scheduled to perform at Fallsview Casino are truly exceptional, and their upcoming appearances will certainly generate high levels of excitement.”

On July 4, experience four exciting European progressive rock acts for one night only with the “Asia: The Heat Of The Moment Tour” at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino. Asia’s debut album exploded onto the music scene in March 1982 with several Top 10 singles and sales exceeding 7 million copies. The band spent five months writing, arranging and recording nine songs for its debut that included such classics as “Heat of The Moment,” “Only Time Will Tell” and “Sole Survivor.”

Joining Asia are Focus, Martin Turner & Curved Air. Recently, Focus's biggest hit, "Hocus Pocus," was used in a 4-minute Nike commercial before the World Cup broadcast. Martin is an English musician best known for his time as the bass guitarist, lead vocalist and a founding member of the rock band Wishbone Ash. Curved Air is an English progressive rock group that released eight studio albums, the first three of which broke into the top 20 in the U.K. albums chart and had a hit single with "Back Street Luv."

On July 27, see Handler live at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino. She is a comedian, television host, best-selling author and advocate whose humor and candor have established her as one of the most celebrated voices in entertainment and pop culture. After a strong seven-year run as the host of E!’s top-rated “Chelsea Lately,” a tenure in which Handler was the only female late-night talk show host on-air, she has penned six best-selling books, launched a documentary series and talk show on Netflix, a critically acclaimed stand-up special on HBO Max, and a radio advice podcast.

On Aug. 30, catch Howard Jones & ABC with Haircut One Hundred at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino. Jones became a household name in the 1980s and ’90s with global hits including “Things Can Only Get Better,” “No One is to Blame,” “What is Love?” and “Like To Get To Know You Well,” along with his debut, “New Song,” which are all etched into pop culture history. His music has featured across multiple major movies and television shows, including “Breaking Bad,” “Stranger Things,” “Glow,” “Transformers,” “Bumblebee” and “Eddie the Eagle.”

Joining Jones are music groups ABC and Haircut One Hundred. ABC, led by charismatic singer Martin Fry, formed in Sheffield in the 1980s. Their debut, “The Lexicon Of Love,” went to No 1 and sold over a million records. To date, ABC have released nine studio albums.

Haircut One Hundred are a British jazz-funk/pop band formed in London in 1980 by vocalist and guitarist Nick Heyward and bassist Les Memes. Eventually becoming a six-piece, the band enjoyed commercial success with its first releases in the early 1980s, and had a top 3 album and four Top 10 singles in the U.K. with “Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl),” “Love Plus One,” “Fantastic Day” and “Nobody’s Fool.”

On Oct. 12, Bret Michaels makes his triumphant return to the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino after his sold-out performance last year. Whether he’s selling out stadiums or headlining hit TV shows, he consistently brings his iconic energy and star power to over three generations of loyal fans. As one of music’s most legendary singers and songwriters, Michaels counts “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” “Go That Far” and “Nothing But A Good Time” as part of his robust catalog of mega-hits. On television, Michaels’ shows include the record-breaking enduring hit “Rock of Love with Bret Michaels” and a recent return as the audience-favorite Banana in FOX’s hit “The Masked Singer.”

Tickets for all performances go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 26, at https://www.ticketmaster.ca. For more, visit www.fallsviewcasino/OLGStageatFallsviewCasino.
