FOX renews hit game show 'The Floor' for 2 additional seasons

FOX has renewed its hit quiz series, "The Floor," this season's No. 1 game show, hosted and produced by Emmy Award nominee Rob Lowe ("9-1-1: Lone Star"), for two additional seasons that will air during the upcoming 2024-25 season, it was announced by Michael Thorn, president of the FOX Television Network.

Kathy Hochul announced flags on state buildings will be flown at half-staff starting at sunrise on May 13 through interment in honor of New York State Thruway Authority employee Vincent "Vinny" Giammarva, a construction equipment operator in the Henrietta maintenance section, who was fatally injured in a work zone in the Town of Chili on May 9.

Acting Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Keane announced 21-year-old Michael L. Stasiuk of Lancaster pleaded guilty yesterday afternoon before Lancaster Town Court Justice David S. Stabler to one count of criminal mischief in the fourth degree and one count of assault in the third degree (class "A" misdemeanors). He was sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to continue participation in mental health treatment.
