On April 17, Lewiston resident John Woodley, a long-time blood donor with the American Red Cross, made his 27th gallon blood donation. Woodley began donating blood when a family member was suddenly in need of numerous units of blood, realizing the importance of blood being on the shelves. Woodley likes to donate in his community, but has donated at various different locations. His 27th gallon donation was made at First Presbyterian Church in Lewiston.
A press release stated, “On behalf of The American Red Cross, and numerous patients that Dave has helped through his blood donations, a huge thank you!”
