Fine Arts Night at Cardinal O’Hara High School in the Town of Tonawanda will highlight the school’s music, art and dance departments.

The event will start at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, in the school’s Performing Arts Center.

The visual arts department of O'Hara, coordinated by art teacher Troy Furco, will exhibit the students’ artwork, including black and white photography, watercolor, tempura, collage and acrylic works.

The program in the Performing Art Center will focus on the concert band along with the wind and jazz ensembles, directed by Colin Sperrazza, head of the music department.

The O’Hara choral groups will feature musical numbers by the song corps, chorus and a special combined presentation, directed by Sperrazza.

Dance performances taught by dance director Katie Calarco will also be part of the program. Students in jazz and tap routine classes will perform, as well as students in all the dance classes.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call the school at 716-695-2600, ext. 312.
